I burned out in 2019.

I needed a break from Corporate America, so I traveled the world, detoxed my body, and reset my mind. I continuously asked myself “who am I without my job and what am I really good at?”. I intuitively leaned on my personality typology & my astrology birth chart reading to help recover my personal confidence and create professional re-alignment. That was my moment - I realized everything is connected. 💫 It was the inception of Modern Skills.

Later, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I felt a calling to pivot once again - this time to entrepreneurship. I knew I had to share what I learned in an easier, faster, and more digestible way.

It's time to step into your power, recenter yourself, and design an intentional life - one with an aligned career and optimal well-being.

Professionally

Professionally, I am a certified career coach, certified & trained life coach, unconventional recruiter, and experienced business consultant. I’ve worked for Fortune 50 companies, families, and the government … and have been promoted or given additional responsibilities in every role. I traveled to every corner of the US as a consultant. I’ve also been laid off twice, and quit without a plan twice, but always trusted my intuition. I want to spend my next work chapter helping others discover their uniqueness, help them create career alignment, and introduce people to Numerology, Astrology, Human Design, Tarot, and Personology . ✨

Personally

Personally, I’m a sensitive Leo, a great listener, a doting rescue mom, and a chips ‘n salsa aficionado. I don’t remember how many tattoos I have. I’ve recently found joy in feeding birds and exploring new hiking trails. Also a lover of sunsets, spicy margaritas, and known to take big risks - shamanic experiences in Bali & Peru, lived in a van, and moved across the country after college not knowing a soul. My hobby is finding my hobby - trying all the self-care modalities along the way. Continued education has become important to me in the last few years … and living a lifestyle rooted in my values is my north-star. 🦋
